What In The Emotional Unavailability Is Going On?

Ah, the old tale of the avoidant in relationships. I always seem to attract these warm people. It always leaves me dumbfounded and confused. The same thing every time, we date nicely for a while, and then suddenly.. they are gone.
After a few bad dates and this pattern repeating itself, I had to let my analytical Virgo moon take over and take a dive deep into what was going on.
I thought to myself, what do the people I’ve dated have in common so far?
Emotional unavailability. Like dating a block of ice.
Are they funny? Yes. Charming? Absolutely. But warm and available? Not so much. With these types, you just feel in the way, and you wonder why they even wanted to date you in the first place. I’ve learned that for me, feeling like someone does not care about me at all is very painful and does not make a safe relationship.
No emotional availability equals no emotional conversations.
